For best results, first remove all debris, grass and weeds from the planting area. If needed, spray a herbicide to kill any weeds or grasses that spread by means of rhizomes. Next, rake the area until it is smooth, and then begin planting. Lay the landscape fabric and secure it with Synova Sod Staples. To avoid degradation over time, cover it with rock, mulch or another topical covering.
